Interns
The Youth Town Internship Program provides learning opportunities
for students each year. Interns work in clinical care or administrative
positions attaining their educational goals while assisting Youth Town
to fulfill its mission of helping children and families live successfully.
Why interns choose Youth Town...
Youth Town is a Christ-centered organization. We give you the opportunity
to share your faith and rely on the compassion of Christ to help make
lasting change in the lives of youth. We offer to students interested
in careers in mental health care for children or in nonprofit management
a unique opportunity to work with and learn from dedicated professionals
in the field. Youth Town offers a wide variety of internships that enhance
academic learning and provide real experience.
Career benefits:
The skills that are required of an intern are those that lead to success
in most any career. Youth Town allows individuals an opportunity to develop
and polish these skills in our programs as well as to share their faith
with kids that need it the most.
Intern opportunities:
Because Youth Town offers treatment to children 24 hours a day, seven
days a week, we have opportunities to fit many schedules. Students are
welcome to pursue an internship for the summer, for one semester, or
for the entire academic year. Interns spend 10 to 40 hours weekly at
Youth Town
To be considered for an internship at Youth Town, you must fill out an
application and provide information from three references. You can pick
up the application at Youth Town Monday through Friday from 8:30-4:30,
or you can e-mail us at interns@youthtown.net.
